How can I add HumanInsightsPlace to my email Safe Sender list ?

To make sure you receive our emails, please add the domain name of our email provider to your safe sender list.  In addition, if you find email from us in your spam or junk folder, you will need to tell your email software that it's not spam by hitting the "not spam" or "not junk" button.  This action will tell your email program it should allow emails from this address in the future.

Do you have any studies I could participate in soon?

We never know what's around the corner, but we always have a variety of studies running from product testing in a facility or in your home, and discussions about products you are using (either in person or remotely). Each study has unique requirements based on the project team needs.  We send out qualification surveys/screeners for all our upcoming studies. The answers you provide determine your eligibility. Check your email often or bookmark this "available surveys" page so you can follow up closely.

Does this study pay more or less than the other one I just filled out?

Compensation is based on your time, travel, and effort required for each study.  The compensation details are included in the confirmation email sent to you after you qualify and schedule. 

How much do I get paid for participating in a study ?

Compensation is done via points that you can earn and redeem for vouchers.  The amount of points you can earn per study is based on test location (if you need to come to our facility you earn more to compensate travel expenses) and effort/amount of homework required for each study.  Compensation details are always mentioned before you start the study so you can decide if you want to take your chance to participate or not (note : final selection of candidates will always be done based on best fit with the required selection criteria).  You will be rewarded with an equivalent of points on your account.

When do I receive my reward ?

Your earned points will be added to your account latest 10 working days after you have completed a study. If you do not receive your points within this time frame, please contact us so we may inquire about the status on your behalf.

How can I redeem my points and exchange them for vouchers ?

Go to My profile / Rewards section to check how many points you have and what gifts are available for your country.  When you click the reward you like, you can start the exchange process.

I just finished a study, how long do I have to wait before I qualify to do another one?

The great news is you don't have to wait because we work with a variety of product types. You just need to watch your email for qualification surveys/screeners. Be sure to check your email often.

How do I get on your list to do studies?

All you need to do is register on our website. Go to the "Registration" tab above or click the "REGISTER HERE" button and fill out the survey.  After we receive your registration, watch your email for qualification surveys/screeners to determine your eligibility for upcoming studies. Be sure to check your email often.

If I bring a friend, can she/he do the study as well?

No, all of our studies require specific panelist requirements and must be qualified and scheduled in advance to participate.   Please invite your friend to register on our website to become a panelist for future studies. 

Can I bring along my kids ? Do you have childcare?

We do not provide any childcare services.  Unless the child is selected to participate in a study with children, he/she is not permitted in our test location.  Your child(ren) are neither allowed to attend the research for which you have been  selected to participate nor can you leave  them in a waiting area. If you arrive with any child(ren), you will not be able to participate and there will be no compensation. 

Note the only exception is for the panelists who are either picking up or dropping off the product (just in and out).

I need someone to give me a lift to your test location.  Can I bring along  my driver ?

For confidentiality and security reasons friends, drivers, or any other people who haven’t been selected to participate in the research are not permitted to attend it with you, nor can they wait for you in our waiting area. If you bring along someone who hasn’t been selected to take part in the research, you will not be able to participate and there will be no compensation. However, your driver will be allowed to wait for you in the car at the guest car park located near our facilities.

I have family and friends who would like to participate in research as well, where can they subscribe for the panel ?

How do I know whether or not I qualified for a study?

If your answers to the screening questions do not match the profile the research team is looking for, the survey will end with a statement like: "Thank you for completing our survey !  Unfortunately, your profile doesn't match the criteria we're looking for." 

If you do make it till the end of the survey, there are several ways of being selected/scheduled to participate in the research :

  • be directed to select an appointment time immediately as part of the screener survey.
  • receive a follow-up email/phone call with more study details (or an extra question) to help ensure you are the right candidate for the test and you will be able to fully participate. 
  • be called to discuss the study requirements in more detail so that you can decide if you wish to participate or not.
Sometimes, the profile is not strictly defined and the research team will select "best fitted candidates" (usually a well balanced mix of different types of people they're looking for) for the test.  So it might be that the screener ends with  "Thank you for completing our survey ! If you get selected to participate in the study, you'll hear from us <time frame specified> to confirm your participation to the test !".  If you don't hear from us within the specified time frame, it means you are not selected to participate in that specific study.

I have just got an email that states I qualify for a study. What should my next steps be?

Wonderful, that means you have met the selection criteria for the study and we look forward to welcoming you as a participant for that particular study.  All instructions on next steps will be detailed in the email, so please read them carefully and follow up on them.  In case you have additional question, send us an email via the contact details you can find in the email or contact us on +32 2 456 50 00.
 

Why do I not receive emails regarding future studies or getting selected to participate anymore?

There might be several reasons for not getting emails from us. Sometimes,  panelists experience email limitations with their provider.  It also can be that at this particular moment we don’t have studies suitable for your profile. Another reason is suspension or removal from the platform.  Due to our studies design, panelist’s participation is vital for the research. Panelists who do not show up or do not participate, partially jeopardize the integrity of the whole study. We do know  that “Life Happens” and if for any reason you can no longer  participate in the research for which you have been selected, we kindly request from you at least a 24 hours’  cancellation notice,  so that we could replace you with someone else to keep the integrity of the study design.  If you happen to miss an appointment and we do not receive any notification from you, we will remove you from our program.

Can I fill out the survey using my cell phone?

Yes, you can access surveys on any device (Smartphone, tablet, computer) that has an internet browser and is connected to the internet.
 

I completed the qualification survey/screener wrongly, can you resend it?

Unfortunately, your answers were captured and the survey can only be completed once.
